Brighton-based trio The XLNTs are quickly building a name for themselves on the Mod and Ska scene with their energetic performances and distinctive sound. Inspired by legendary bands including The Small Faces, The Clash and The Specials they feature Aiden on guitar and vocals, Billy on bass and Jack on drums. The band have earned a reputation for lively performances and plenty of personality.
Since forming, they’ve built a following through their electrifying live shows and unforgettable songs, earning opportunities to support established acts including Buster Shuffle, The Chords UK and Death of Guitar Pop. They’ve also caught the attention of The Libertines, an encouraging milestone for a band still in the early stages of their journey.
Just over a year after getting together, The XLNTs released their debut album in late 2025, marking an impressive first chapter for the band. They continue to keep that momentum going with new music, including an acoustic version of their single “This Town Is Mine”, released on 1st August 2026, followed by their five-track acoustic EP, “The Acoustic Tracks”, on the 29th. August 2026.
Whether you’re already a fan of Mod and Ska or discovering the genre for the first time, The XLNTs are a band that know how to put on an entertaining live show. Check them out on track 5 of the Small Geezers album to listen to their original song, Some Things Never Change.
