Bognorphenia Events for 2024
BIG WEEKEND 2022
WHO ARE WE?
Founded in 2014, Bognorphenia CIC works voluntarily at grass roots level, supporting the wider community, especially young people, families, children and older people. We facilitate live music events to raise funds to provide a free Music Project for young people including Mentoring and Skill Sharing making the project all inclusive working towards the Our Generation Young Peoples Day Annual Event.
WHAT WE DO
-
Multiple volunteering opportunities for young volunteers
-
Provide Free Music Lessons
-
Build their skills and offer opportunities to skill share
-
Provide a platform for young people to perform in front of large numbers
-
Empower young people and grow their confidence
-
We provide workshops for the younger children with a variety of themes.
We believe that young people can make all the difference to their communities and their lives through the power of volunteering. When young people discover what they care about,
and are empowered to do something about it, they are highly capable, committed and
passionate. We refuse to see any young person, no matter their circumstances,
as anything other than an asset.
Bognorphenia provide free skill sharing and mentoring all year round.

OUR GENERATION - YOUNG PEOPLES DAY
The Our Generation Young People’s Day event facilitates the coming together of young people from a range of backgrounds through the medium of music, arts and performance. Young people can also connect with other young people on the day by attending the event, and through the collaborative process of planning and delivering the event.
The Bognorphenia team works hard to provide opportunities for young people to gain work experience, to build on their confidence and to empower them.
